If you’ve logged into Facebook from a computer lately you’ve probably noticed a fair amount of ads. Some of these advertisements may be for products or services that you are actually searching for, but many are not. Although you’ll never get rid of ads entirely, you can hide the ones you don’t want to see. You can even hide Facebook ads from specific companies. Here’s how:

If some of these advertisements are relevant, hooray! If some of them are for products or services that you’re not interested in, use these steps to get rid of them for good!
Hover over the ad with your mouse until the “x” appears. It will look something like this:
Next you’ll need to pick whether you want to hide the ad or all ads from the company.
The last step in getting rid of unwanted ads is to let Facebook know why you don’t want to see a particular advertisement. This step is important, so be sure to complete it. If you don’t you may continue to see unwanted ads.
