If you logged into Pinterest and noticed your Recent Activity feed disappeared, don’t be worried. This section disappeared to make room for the recently launched News feed. Pinterest is rolling out a new feature that will make your shared content easier to find and share. This update allows users to see where pins were repinned from and pinners will see where their pins ended up. Pretty cool!
For those who haven’t received the update yet, your Pinterest page looks something like this:
If you’ve already received the update you’ll be able to find your news in two places:
On your home feed…
Or through the News tab on your Pinterest profile page…
This is what your News page will look:
This update is nothing major, but it will change two things for Pinterest users.
- Pinterest users will now be able to see their news both on their homepage and through the tab on their profile page.
- Pinterest News will not contain information about “likes” or new followers. If you want to be notified of these things you’ll have to adjust your email settings.
It may be a couple of weeks before you see this change on your Pinterest page, but it is going to happen. What are your thoughts on this update?

Hi Mark, Just found you on the G+ community Social Media Strategy and saw your post on Pinterest. I don’t think my Pinterest has been updated yet, I hate change at first though, so I’m in no hurry 🙂
Also, I just added you on G+ and Pinterest..Have a great weekend 🙂

Hey Paula,
Thanks for checking out the blog! Don’t worry too much about the change on Pinterest, it’s pretty minor. I’ll be sure to add you back on Google+ too.
